well, and again i haven't updated for ages. i just don't feel like it lately...
yesterday, i got a bit of my youth back. i got mark owen's new album. not only does it rock (which i really didn't expect) but it also reminds me so much of the good old days when i was so in love with take that and their stupid little love songs never failed to cheer me up. now other bands have taken their place but things aren't so easy anymore. the new songs are way deeper and way more negative as is my life.
in other news, i've found myself addicted to a "new" song i found on the net. it's the acoustic version of "girl's not grey" by youknowwho. yes, it's probably very old and everyone knew it already but i didn't and i'm just amazed cos i never imagined AFI to be a band that were good at acoustic stuff as they're usually so...loud and...kinda wild and this would have seemed wrong to me. but it's really awesome and i can't stop listening to it which is kinda sick.
i got another birthday present on thursday. we had this meeting at work and i got to see annette and melanie and the others again. annette, melanie and diana got me this really cute porcelain-sheep-thingie tweety socks and a highly amusing card. they're so lovely. also, i got to see jacqueline again and i was even happy about that. her belly's all huge already and as mushy as it is, it was cute. she still doesn't know what it's gonna be as the baby keeps getting into strange positions so the doctors can't see. i kept telling her it was gonna be a boy who wants to be a girl so he keeps hiding the evidence. hehe. she wasn't too amused, though. now that i think about it...it seems to weird. i mean, we're not close or something but i still can't imagine her to have a baby...
well, and now i have things to see and people to do so you have to find another source of entertainment...
it was weird but the picture in the center of the booklet nearly made me burst into tears because he looks so much like he did back in the tt-days. and when i read the credits, it said that one song had been co-written by gary barlow which sent another wave of that icky "aww"-feeling washing over me.
