it's friday, i'm in love
2005-01-28
well, maybe not in love but employed which is even better because lovers don't give you money (no, darlings, people who do that are not called "lovers"). yes, i got the job. i spent all day nearly shitting myself because i planned to call them after the exam. but when i got home and checked my mail, they had already mailed me and told me i could start on 1st march. hooray. this means, i have a month to relax (and be short on money, haha) and then i'll finally feel like a real person again. i can't wait to start work there. i am already writing the first "bah, i hate my work"-entries in my head. good thing, good thing.
the other good news is that i passed the last exam as well. and i got an A. ok, so it was english but i really didn't think it would turn out THAT good. the telecommunications one only turned out to be a C but i'm more than happy with that as well. this also means i'm finally completely done with that horrible horrible company. well, mostly. i still need them to send me all the papers, so i can pass them on to my new company.
for now, however, i'll leave for munich tomorrow. i'm really really looking forward to it, now. yesterday, i still felt a little bad about going and was really close to cancelling it all because i was afraid of not getting the job and not having money and whatever. but today it all seems so much better. i also got my new cash card which means i won't need to borrow money from my mum, nor will i have to wallk around with tons of cash.
today, i also remembered the original reason why we decided on this week, which is the gig of my chemical romance. i had honestly forgotten about it for some time. but now i'm buzzing to go. i still don't know what exactly we're gonna do the rest of the time except for the dinner with maja's colleages which i'm nervous about because it seems like the first dinner with the parents. haha. oh yeah, and going to the movies and to ikea. ok, so there are some plans. ah, i don't care, we'll find something to do, i'm sure...
i don't think i'll update while i'm there because most of the entries written while i wasn't home are kinda crappy (well, even worse than my usual ones). but who knows, i might feel the desperate need to do so at some point.
