irony

2002-06-22

sometimes my life is so full of irony that i wanna laugh and cry at the same time. yesterday, after watching the manics dvd, i sooo felt like going out or at least talking to someone or having someone with me but it was too late to even start planning anything. today, i wanted to spend a day alone just me and my tv and my manson bio. and what happened? around 4pm, the door bell rang and my mom's colleague and her bf (my "brother") decided to visit us. so, we had them hanging around here for a while. it was ok, though, because my "brother" finally fixed some proggies on my comp. now, ftp and my e-mail prog are working. msn, winmx and aol aren't, though. :(

viva plus suck sooooo much. there's this show called "preview" which is supposed to show only new stuff. well, not only is what they call "new" about 2 years old but they also show completely different videos than they said they would. they had the singer from readymade there and said they'd play the new video "the graduate" now (which is also about a few weeks old, already) but instead ended up playing "supernatural" which is 2 years old or so but called it "the graduate" anyway. they didn't even apologise afterwards or anything. they seem to think the viewers are completely stupid. wsell, or that we're no readymade fans which is partly right. i've never been their biggest fan but they still had a few good songs and deserve a better treatment than that. i mean, if someone introduced the wrong britney spears song they'd probably broadcast a whole "we apologize to britney spears" show afterwards with musical acts like the backstreet boys and atc and fuck knows who else who all wrote "sorry, britney" songs or something.
meep! i'm talked such a load of bullshit today but i'm booooored!
gawd, that viva plus guy is pissing me off!!!! he seems to think of himself as god's gift to the music biz! he doesn't even try to give any kind of useful criticism. he just goes like "well, that album might be a good one but i think it's bullshit" super! that's the kind of review everyone finds very useful. and he also said his guests had to find arguments to convince him to listen to a rock album, again. wtf?! listening to *new* albums in general is his fucking job so he has to do it and i think i can speak for the whole world if i say we don't give a flying fuck what he listens to in his free time. if he wants to he can listen to a whole album of recorded animal farts and i still won't care. and i think it's so rude to ask two singers who both come from a rockband why he should listen to rock. it's really not their job. what a bloody wanker! the whole music channel has about one good vj which is bloody frustrating cos you can watch it whenever you want and usually you see complete idiots either talking about things they have no clue about or talking to people who they've never heard of before. the only reason why i'm frequently watching the channel is because they play some damn good music and because viva and mtv seem to have an agreement to always send dance music or hiphop shows at the same time.

ooohhh...the osbournes will be on in 30 mins. i missed it on wednesday. :( which is kinda ridiculouus because i don't have anything to do at the time and there's not really an excuse for missing anything.
i'm going out with sabrina on monday, though. probably we're going to the cinema, again. dunno how much money i spent on that in the past few weeks. it's cool, though. i luv seeing movies in a cinema. it's much more fun than being alone at home.
and now, my dear sweethearts, i have to leave you because i wanna play with my sims before the osbournes will be on.
