this day shall forever be remembered as the day i found shoes. ok, that means it's not necessarily the most exciting day in history but it's still very cool. because i bought shoes. ok, i admit, this doesn't sound too convincing now. but shoes are something i almost never get to buy. or at least not regular fashion shoes. i have loads of sneakers because each time i go and look for shoes, i don't find any that are nice AND fit, so i buy sneakers. i have AFI sneakers, adidas sneakers, leoprint sneakers and i guess quite a few other pairs i can't remember now cos i haven't worn them in ages.
so yeah, that was my day. well, not really. we also spent another hour running up and down the mall because it's 'karneval' here in germany and all the costumed idiots annoy me so much that, in an attempt to get away from them, i decided we should try taking part in the annual "anti-karneval-shopping" in the mall. which worked quite well because everyone there was anti-karneval. unfortunately, there are many people which are anti-karneval so it was packed. but yeah, it was fun and i didn't spend much money. i only bought the shoes and some black candles and one big candle which is mango-coconut-scented.
actually, my mum and grandpa had planned to go to the lancia seller with me today to ask whether the one we have here has the same offers as the one in trier so there wouldn't be a need to go so far. but, of course, the thing was closed. so now we're going on wednesday. i'm getting excited now because it's so close. my grandpa's now even agreed to buy the more expensive one because it has more PS. this one has 80 while the one he had agreed to buy before had *only* 60. so now i won't be the scum of the highway. ok, i guess i'll still be the scum seeing as they showed cars with over 600PS on tv lately but there's be even scummier cars on the highway which i can look down on. i still need to choose a license plate and a name and i'm not 100% sure about the colour, yet.
anyway, i'm sounding way to cheery and i apologise for that. really, i shouldn't be so happy. but i can't help it. ok, i admit i'm a little gutted about having to go to school tomorrow and not having anything planned.
alright, i need to go and pack some things up for ebay. so tata.
but today i found real shoes. they're so pretty. they're brown leather shoes and they have a semi-high heel and...well, i'd show you a pic if i wasn't so damn lazy. maybe i'll post some later. and the best part: it was a bargain. they were �90 and i got them for �40. and that's definitely something to be remembered forever. i find shoes that fit my crappy feet, they're awesome AND they were a bargain. ha! beat that!
i still don't like shoe-shopping, though. i guess i'll never like it because i got a mixture of my mum's feet (flat and wide) and my dad's feet (strangely shaped toes), so shoes almost never fit my feet and it gets even more depressing than trying to buy pants which you won't get over your fat butt.
