i (re-)discovered so much great music lately. lostprophets, A, billy talent, phantom planet...it's really awesome. it kind of made me believe in music again because i was seriously losing faith here. it's not that so much music is really crap. it's just that it doesn't seem very exciting. most of the songs can be listened to from time to time but there's hardly anything that makes me squeal in excitement. this stuff, though, makes me want to wiggle my enormous butt.
someone should really keep me away from computers. or ebay for that matter. i just had the worst experiences with it ever. there was a guy selling a signed copy of the "girl's not grey" single. now, i own this copy already and i'm not an autograph-collector (i do have theirs anyway :p ). but that guy was raising money for a children with cancer-hospital project with his auctions. and i didn't want AFI to be losers and only raise 5� or something. so i bid on it and promised, no way i would bid more than 15�. i only wanted to raise the price a bit anyway. but yeah, what can i say? i only ended bidding at 36� cos the auction ended. i didn't win it (thank god!). i think i would have been pretty fucked if i had won it as i really didn't want to pay so much money for it. plus, it was ultra-scary because my heart was racing and i got over-excited. yelling at the screen and all. bah! i don't think i will be seen anywhere near ebay soon. though there's someone who's selling a copy of a mag with a really awesome AFI interview. must.not.give.in.to.temptation!
btw...only four days of work left. YES!
i have loads to pay for already. i got a little carried away and ordered clothes for $130 from torrid. but they're all so pretty. i ordered a fabulous black and pink skirt, a black shirt with pink and yellow stars and bubbles, a pink pirates of the carribean shirt and hella cute pink cork platform shoes (they were only $6.99 AND they were available in my size). yes, i know...no excuse for my insanity but yeah. pretty pretty clothes. *sits and waits for postman to arrive*
