oh gawd! *yawns and stretches her poor little body* that trip was brilliant but i thought it would kill me.
actually, it was more or less a rip-off cos instead of the 6 days we paid for we didn't even have 4. and the hotel sucked soooo much. i mean, we didn't have a bloody loo in the room though this was promised and it was actually what we had paid the extra-fee for. so, we're sooooo gonna complain. but we didn't spend too much time in the room anyway.
i just luv london! i wish i could have stayed there forever and ever and ever. i dunno, i suppose most people who live there don't even see what i like about it. and i know that it's just another town in this world and that living there had its own disadvantages and shit. but somehow, i think i'd rather put up with them than with the ones this shithole has about it. it's just...everything looks so much lovelier and even the poorer parts are just pretty and all. *sighs* and i mean...we have seen a lot of not-so-great parts of london.
the only thing that seriously annoyed me was the tube strike that went on on thursday. because in the afternoon, we had to get to paddington station for the bus to pick us up but we had spent the day in hyde park. it's not THAT far but having to walk around with a damn heavy rucksack and shopping bag sucks big time. ok, the busses were driving but i didn't really want to press into a full bus with half the population of london. 8> but it was ok, we got there (unfortunately - i could have stayed otherwise) and went home.
actually, there isn't much i could write about london itself here now because it would bore you to death because most of what really made me happy has to do with london being london. and either you have been there already and know all the places or you haven't and don't know what i'm talking about anyway. so, i think i'm just gonna ruin the whole happiness of this entry by complaining a bit more.
we had this reeeeeaaaaally annoying youth group from hamburg in our bus. at first, i thought they were quite alright and funny and stuff because...you know 6 guys about 16, kinda extroverted and definitely drunk like 10 sailors...that means quite some fun. but on the trip back they decided to sit right in front of us and after 2 hours they annoyed the shit outta me they were so noisy and one of them was still sitting in the back because noone had wanted to change seats with him. and for some strange reason they called him "aal" (german for "eel"). i know that northern germans are quite obsessed with fish but that's weird. and "aal" seemed to be their star because they were constantly talking about him and calling out his name and shit. doh! the funny thing, tho, was that they went like "we're gonna stay up all night and drink and fool around" and at around 3am, i kinda woke up and looked around and they were all fast asleep and looked like little babies with their shirts pulled up over their head. aww... i actually laughed out loud and got an angry look from the one who was sitting before me and was the only one who hadn't been sleeping but quietl reading one of those dreadful hard rock mags. heheeeee.
the good news, however, are that my mom said she'll definitely go to london with me again this november/december. yey yey yey. ok, she still had to add that "if i can afford it..." but i mean...i'll just ask for it for my birthday. hooray! and i mean, that's only like 4/5 months from now. woohoo!

maja is still here, btw. i'm letting her watch her newly purchased blink 182 dvd right now and it's a bit like giving a kid their toy. heheeee. and she'll hate me when she reads this.
oooohhh, talking about kids...my mom got this new...dunno...cheese-bell-like thing you can puts cakes and tarts and pies into. and she's like a little kid. she'd been talking about it for about 3 weeks already. first, she had seen such a thing but it had been too expensive. then, she had seem some cheaper ones on ebay and was totally happy. then, she finally found a really cheap one and bid for it and i had to listen to daily auction-updates about it. then, she had won the auction and actually told me about it when i called in from england. and today, she finally got the thing and freaked out like a kid and actually went and bought that damn expensive marzipan-cake that we usually only buy when it is someone's birthday or our dreadful neighbours died or something. o:)

gawd, i need sleep. yesterday, we arrived around 4am or so and i went straight to bed and slept til 4.30pm when my mom woke me up (bitch). and tonight, i couldn't really sleep because sabrina had brought over her hamsters on thursday and last night, they decided to freak out and get all noisy. they somehow managed to climp up that little crap in their cage and hang themselves on the gitter-cieling and start biting on it. so, about every 30 minutes, i had to tickle their feet to make them fall down. hmph! they're probably gonna have babies on tuesday, tho. aww...
so...i am going off now. gawd, it feels good to be back at diaryland. :)
