*coughs* *sneezes* what an awful weekend. i'm sick. really sick. ok, i have a cold but i haven't had such an awful cold ever since i was 8 or something. i'm actually stuffed with all sorts of medication now. i took stuff for my nose and some weird cold-stuff that tasted awful and is known to cause stomach-bleeding, confusion and depression with some people (well, except for the stomach-bleeding not a big change for moi), aspirin and some pills against my sore throat. if the stuff now starts reacting to each other, i guess i'll be a walking atom-bomb or something. but i feel a little better. ok, that could be because yesterday was my cold's personal highlight and because it couldn't get any worse, evidently the sleep had to make it better. i didn't sleep for long, tho. i woke up around 9am and actually had to get up to put some spray into my nose because i was close to suffocation. ok ok, i'm exaggerating but it's really not nice. especially because i am forcing myself into going to work. because it's the last week at our current ressort and i don't wanna miss even more time there and i don't wanna seem like someone who takes some early vacation or something.
the rest of the weekend, tho, i spent at home and did almost nothing. on saturday, we only went grocery shopping where i nearly collapsed because i felt so sick. so, i didn't do much the rest of the day. when we got home, i had finally got my beloved final fantasy X and i basically spent the whole weekend playing that. i got really far and i'm glad it's so easy because i suck at the fights. i'm still in love with lulu, though. she's so pretty. i want the action doll of her to put on my shelf and stare at her all day. <3
and now i'm going to annoy the aad peeps a little.
ok, i have to admit...the cocktail i *partly* drank on friday didn't do me any good. i was already feeling sick-ish before but that was really too much. plus, i could only drink 1/3 of it or so because i had my car with me and it was stronger than i expected.
our christmas party-thingie was alright, tho. well, it was surprisingly good, considering that i had planned not to go. of course, the usual idiots pissed me off but luckily i didn't have to spend much time with them. melanie hung around with annette and moi all the time but one if still quite easy to bear. we had a lot to laugh about, tho. and bj�rn was there, too. quite scarily, tho, he had shaved his head which SO doesn't suit him at all. apparently, he had always had that style, tho, and had only grown an actual hairstyle for work. but now, that he isn't working anymore he obviously thinks he doesn't need that anymore. dunno, i feel different about him, now. i still like him and he's still fun to be around but i heard some stuff about the reasons why he got fired and why he was in trouble with the law and everything... i dunno if it's true or if it's only a dumb rumour, that's why i don't really want to damn him forever for that. but i mean...it involved actual beatings at football games and all sorts of shit and i dunno... he doesn't seem like one of those idiotic hooligans. as i said, i like that guy a lot and all. but if it's true, he definitely deserves what he got now. i don't mean this in a bad way as in "oh, he's a bad person". i just think everyone should be responsible for what they're doing and if what i heard is true, he just has to take the consequences now.
after all, at least he seemed rather...i don't want to say happy. but he seemed relieved. like that job wasn't what he wanted anyway and now he can be himself again. we didn't get to talk *that* much, tho.
