oh my god, you changed your template!
well, what can i say? spring seems to be coming our way and i figured it was time for my diary to quit hibernating and become all spring-like, too. i miss davey, though. but i really like this. i've aaaaalways wanted a cherry tree design. wait! didn't i even have one before the b/w nicky wire one? i dunno but if i had the one i think i had, it was crap anyway. and if i hadn't then because it would have been that crappy one. once i figured out how to make remotely decent layouts and i had nice ideas for one including a cherry tree, it was fall and winter and it didn't seem appropriate. but now is the perfect time for it.
and once again i am rambling about my template. i always do that when i have a new one. which just goes to show how boring my life is. you know what weekends are like with me. and this one was especially exciting because i had four days off. though it wasn't that bad, really. friday and today were bank holidays (as in most other countries, i suppose). so i didn't do much. i went shopping (well, kinda) on saturday. basically, we had to go grocery shopping and we also stopped at the mall. i needed to get a few things like...CDs to burn something for mariam and all. and then my mum had the bright idea that she wanted a new bag, so we walked all the way to the shop with the nice bags. which proved to be not that much of a bright idea because i was wearing high heels. i almost never wear high heels and that's how my feet felt in the end.
my skin is all itchy and dry and flaky. it's the weather, i swear. i mean, my skin isn't the best in general but when the weather's like this and can't make up its mind, it usually gets worse. i ordered awesome anti-dry skin lotion from lush yesterday, though. it should arrive some time next week. hopefully i'll still have skin to put this onto by then.
having four days off kind of rocks, though. it reminded me of the four months before i started work. i was just staying up late being online, doing nothing. and that's what i did. friday night i stayed up so long that i ended up being so tired that i actually noticed davey bearing a scary resemblance to my english teacher and i watched interview videos to point out when and how exactly they look like each other.
yes, i did.
wow, it's so...light-hearted and fresh and positive.
yes, i know. i'm sorry.
and yesterday i was so bored that i finished two homework assignments. and not just any assignments but chemistry and physics. today, however, it's not going so well. i spent ages staring at my history assignment without really taking anything in.
also, i have to decide which subjects i want to study next year. and i can't choose between russian or spanish. i think i'm more interested in spanish but russian sounds quite cool, too. god, i hate decisions!
