i'm haaaappy because i got my new mobile yesterday. :D hell, yes, i know that's not the correct way of starting an entry on a day like today. but i'm so sick of all the sep 11 talk. i mean, it's not wrong to talk about it and yes, it is a very sad thing and stuff. but people are *SO* overdoing it. it gets especially sickening when people here in germany say their lives have changed so much and all. that's just not true. for a few weeks after that day, the country was in a bit of a coma-like state. but afterwards, life went back to normal for everyone who wasn't directly involved. i don't think anybody changed their lives or even their POV's. there is nothing you could change in your life to be prepared. you can't hide in your bedroom forever. and even there you wouldn't be save. the only way to be absolutely free from such things is to kill yourself. it's just all so fake...

anyway...i wasn't gonna talk about this. the world's full of it anyway.
so, yes, i finally got a new phone. 8310 it is. really pretty and small. i can hide it everywhere and always check my mails/sms. *is happy*

work is cool at the moment. my group's really nice. i don't think we'll become best friends or so because we're all too different but as a group we're great. we help each other and are really friendly and never bitch around and all. that's good. i wish i could help that one guy, tho. his name's benjamin and he's from a little town near dortmund. he can't come to work by car because it's really old and he'd waste 20 on gas everyday. so, he has to get up at 3.30am each morning now to take the first bus at 4.10am because if he took the one an hour later, he'd be ONE FUCKING MINUTE late. and after 10 times or so that would be a reason to fire him. that sucks. he actually passes duisburg's train station, but i don't. i'd have to get up extra-early to pick him up there and for him it wouldn't make a big difference for him, either, because he'd have to be there around 6 aswell. i just feel so sorry for him. 3.30am is really an ungodly hour. and the company won't give him an appartment yet because the 3 trial months aren't over. and there's no way for him to go and view other appartments after work, either. if he goes home at 4pm he isn't home before 7 and he'd probably get hardly any sleep if he walked around dsseldorf after work. :( maybe i'll offer him to at least take him with me to the train station after work. poor boy. :( ok, i sound like i had a crush on him but i haven't. he's not my type. he's just nice and a great part of the group and really funny. and i guess i'd also feel sorry for meat loaf if he had to get up at 3.30am. because i always sympathize with people who get no sleep because sleeping is great! but i really admire him because he's *always* in a rather good mood. if i was him, i'd probably kill 5 people a day.
anyway, other real great members of the group are...
melanie - she's from spain but has been living in germany for ages. she's fun to be around and just talks to everyone. she's never mad at you (or hardly ever)
alexandra - she's quiet but seems to be a rock chick. she listens to loads of gothic and heavy metal music. but she hardly ever says anything and if she does you never hear her. but she's nice. she doesn't seem grumpy, just shy. and she smiles a lot.
bjrn - he's our little clown. see, on the second or so day in the cafeteria, two other girls in my group saw him at the counter. apparently, noone was there, so he just went like "hello? hello?" over and over again. and when a voice from the back was heard, he just yelled "isch htt gern n brtchen und ne wuchst!" which means as much as "i'd like some bread (forgot the english word for brtchen but it's kinda bread) and a sausage" but actually sausage=wurst and wuchst is a really funny german dialect and it just sounded so hilarious. so now, whenever those two girls see him, they go like "so, did you eat a WUCHST today?" *cracks up* poor boi!
annette - she's sitting on the desk next to me. she cracks me up because she always ends -chen to everything which is a way to make things sound cute in germany. like -y in english. like you say doggy or something.
jacqueline - (difficult name :p ) she's sitting on my other side (yeah, i'm caught in the middle). she gets annoying sometimes because she's always so nervous and wobbling around and talking talking talking. but tho she has a big mouth, she's always ready to admit that she's hurt someone and apologizes and all.

so...this is my group. well, there are 6 other girls but these are the ones i usually have contact with. i think the 3 years will be cool. of course, it's a bit early to judge but we seem to be really mature so i don't really see any silly arguments coming up. and if they do, benjamin will calm us all down. he's 27 and seems a bit...not old, but wise. he has this really cool "uh huh"-attitude which kinda keeps the others down to earth aswell. yey. anyway, i have to go offline, now. i wanted to get enuff sleep for a change. hehe.
