little fuzzy jade

2004-09-08

*groans* the last entry was pretty much no life-ish, i suppose. sometimes, i still manage to surprise myself which is getting pretty hard when you stop expecting things from yourself. quite worryingly, though, it's been almost only lowlights i've surprised myself with lately.
yesterday's lowlight was when i went to staple's. i spent 40 (FOURTY) on office supplies. ok, mostly stuff i needed for school and i didn't pay for it but still scary. and i spent about 10 minutes standing in front of the writing paper shelf deciding which paper i wanted to put into my school folder. most of it had rounded corners and i HATE rounded corners on notepads and whatever. so yeah, i managed to find the only kind of paper that hat NORMAL 90 corners. ha. and i got colourful little post-it strips to put into my calendar to write the day's homework on. and...some other junk i don't even remember or don't wanna mention here now as the reason why i need it is quite sad, really.
afterwards, i went to superpet to buy catfood. again, i spent 10 minutes standing in front of the shelf. usually, we buy the same catfood all the time. it takes about 30 seconds to put everything into the cart and that is that. but this time, i looked at all the funky stuff and ended up buying three kinds of treat including something called "sweethearts" just because the name and the picture of the cat amused me.
and then i fell in love! i saw him! the jade! no, not THE jade but the little fuzzy jade. a guinea pig. i swear, if they ever took jade's genes and decided to cross them with those of a guinea pig, the outcome would be like this. it had kinda brownish fur, all spiked up on the head with blond parts/tips. it looked totally like jade a few months ago. i really really really wanted little fuzzy jade but my mum said she'd kick me out if i got another pet. and, which is slightly more importantly cause she also said she'll kick me out when i got those hamsters from sabrina...and when i got the rabbit, she pointed out to me that we have no space for another cage. but damn, that guinea pig was perfect. and he was the ruler of the little guinea pig world. he was chasing all the others around there. even the rabbits. jade, the playah, eh? i swear, he was just waiting for me. and in the female guinea pig-cage they also had an not-half-as-cute-as-little-fuzzy-jade-but-still-cute guinea pig girly which i wanted to get as his friend and i would have named her shirley. though, for a second, i also thought of getting that black long-haired guinea pig boy to name him davey but let's not let this get out of control now...
so yeah, i hope little fuzzy jade will find a nice home. aww.

my tattoo is itching like a mofo. seriously, it takes all my energy not to scratch away at it. i'll give it ONE day and then i'll go and buy sandpaper. no shit. it's so hard not to scratch because i usually do it without noticing. even when nothing's itching. i just scratch. for fun? out of boredom? who cares!
