memories of better times

i really need sleep and i really can't think straight. but someone posted about hanson (yes, those 3 long-haired dudes who did that "mmmbop" song in the mid-90's) on the placebo forum and it reminded me of when i bought their album. when was it? '96? '97? i don't even know but i bought it while we were on holiday in lanzarote and it was so totally awesome. i remember sitting in the sun on our balcony and listening to that album over and over again. nowadays, i still appreciate it because it reminds me of those times. isn't it weird yet nice how music can remind us of so many things in our lives which we usually don't think about at all?
i must listen to that album again sometime. just for the hell of it.
